Growing Through It

Welcome to my blog where chaos meets college. I'm here to share with you the hard truth of college life that everyone likes to dress up and make seem like it's so easy, when in reality... nothing is easy.

Should You Join A Sorority? The Things Nobody Talks About

At my University, there's only 6 sororities, which still feels like a whole lot. Our rush "week" is crammed into a high-stress, little to no sleep, sobfest weekend. Sounds like a blast, I know. I rushed freshman year which means I've been through recruitment three times. Once as the potential new member, or PNM, and twice as an active member of my sorority. Why It's Okay If You Don't Know What You Want To Do After College

The world puts so much pressure on going to college and picking a major that is going to determine your entire adult working life. Maybe you were smart and decided you want to be a nurse and you go to nursing school and have a beautifully clear path to all of your dreams and aspirations. If you're someone like me, you probably see those nursing majors and get a little sick to your stomach because you're a communications major who can't seem to see past the diploma.
